Apple in an event scheduled for October 30, 2018 in New York will present the new ipad pro models, the first without Lightning port but with FaceID
After unveiling to the world its new iPhone Xs and iPhone Xs Max, Apple is ready to present to its users the new iPad Pro. Cupertino’s top-of-the-line tablet will be exclusively shown at an event set for next October 30, 2018 in New York.
The presentation of the new iPad Pro will therefore take place a few days after the market release of the iPhone Xr, i.e. the “budget” phone with a 6.1-inch LCD screen, scheduled for October 26, 2018. For the new iPad Pro Apple has decided to go big. The tablet will have wireless charging and FaceID facial recognition in the front camera. During the same event at the end of the month in New York Cupertino will most likely also present a new 13-inch MacBook Retina and the new version of the Mac Mini. But here are in detail all the technical features and design that will characterize the new iPad Pro from Apple.
iPad Pro: technical features
The design of the new iPad Pro will be characterized by reduced bezels as never before. The Apple tablet will therefore offer a full-screen experience. As already mentioned on the new iPad Pro there will also be FaceID, this is the first time Cupertino brings its face recognition system outside of iPhones. As well as on iPhone on new iPad Pro we will not find the physical Home button. Important also the choice of ports that go from Lightning to USB Type C. In case this indiscretion is confirmed for Apple it would be the first iOS device not to adopt the Lightning port. As for the screens, which almost certainly for reasons of price will be with LCD technology and not OLED as the last iPhone Xs, there will be two variants: a display from 11 and another from 12.9 inches. The headphone jack is expected to be eliminated. Cupertino is expected to also release a new Apple Pencil that will work in a more agile manner than those currently on the market. The new Apple Pencil, in fact, like the AirPods, will detect the proximity of the iPad and will automatically match without any need to be physically connected.
