American Horror Story: two more spin-offs coming

FX has announced two more spin-offs of the acclaimed AHS: one sports-themed and the other sentimental.

Just weeks after the release of the first American Horror Story (AHS) spin-off, cable network FX has announced the preparation of two more spin-offs, one sports-themed and the other sentimental. Coming soon American Love Story and American Sports Story. Let’s find out how these two new spin-offs will involve us.

Ryan Murphy, along with longtime partner Brad Falchuk, continues with his creative flair to tell more American stories and expands the AHS family. American Love Story, the sentimental spinoff, will tell sweeping love stories capable of capturing the world’s attention. The sports-themed spin-off, American Sports Story, will focus the events of each episode on reliving an important event of a sports figure, but with the peculiarity of reinterpreting that moment in a modern key and from different perspectives. The genius of Murphy is ready to further expand the universe of American Horror Story.

Who are the protagonists

In the first season of American Love Story will be told, episode after episode, the story of the overwhelming courtship and passionate marriage between John F. Kenney Jr., and Carolyn Bessette. The two young and beautiful protagonists had a painful love affair. There were countless pressures on their careers and just as many rumors of a divorce. They lived at the center of the international tabloid chronicles for quite some time, until their tragic epilogue. The two lovers died in an ugly plane crash that crashed on a foggy summer night in the ocean off the coast of Massachusetts. A mysterious and convulsive story ending, which we know is very dear to Ryan Murphy, also for his other creations.

The first season of American Sports Story, according to the latest news, should tell the story of the American National Football League player, Aaron Hernandez, his rise and tragic end. The player was indicted for first-degree murder and sentenced to life in prison in 2015. Hernandez was later found dead by suicide: he hanged himself at the age of 27 in his prison cell at Souza Baranowski Correction Center in Shirley, Massachusetts.
