A new all-Italian series is preparing to land on Netflix, ready to tell about love, friendship, career and surreal encounters. Astrological Guide for Broken Hearts is the series based on the book by Silvia Zucca and created by Bindu de Stoppani.
After the great success of the book, now comes the romantic comedy that follows the story of Alice, a young woman in search of great love and fulfillment in her work. Alice’s life is turned around by her friend Tio, who makes her discover astrology. The young protagonist will let herself be guided by the stars in order to realize all her desires. Astrological Guide for Broken Hearts is a TV series in 6 episodes and is set in Turin, with the actress who plays the role of Alice Bassi being Claudia Gusmano. Directed together with Bindu is Michela Andreozzi, while the production is by Italian International Film – Gruppo Lucisano.
Astrological guide for broken hearts: the plot
Alice Bassi is a thirty-year-old single woman, not by choice, who works as a production assistant in a small television network. Despite her skills and expertise, there are very few career options for her. In all this, her ex-boyfriend Carlo Barresi is getting on with his life: he’s about to get married and become a father.
At work, things are bound to change with the arrival of Davide Sardi, a charming and mysterious creative director, who is in charge of checking the team’s productivity. Alice’s encounter with Tio, an actor from the network’s flagship soap opera, brings her closer to astrology, so much so that he will become her personal guru for the Astrological Guide for Broken Hearts.

The series was written by Bindu de Stoppani and Fabrizio Cestaro and stars actress Claudia Gusmano as the protagonist Alice Bassi. The friend Tio and astrology guru is actor Lorenzo Adorni, while the charming creative director Davide Sardi is played by Michele Rosiello.
