Fortnite Android, exclusive release for Galaxy Note 9?

According to some rumors coming out of South Korea, the next phablet from Samsung could be launched on the market with a dedicated version of

For a long time Fortnite fans have been waiting for Epic Games to reveal the Fortnite mobile release date on Android. The video game that has been depopulated for over a year now, in fact, is only missing on the green robot platform, but things should change soon.

In the second half of July 2018, in fact, a first list of Android smartphones compatible with Fortnite at launch was leaked, but according to the latest rumors the list should be rewritten. Or, rather, completely deleted. According to rumors coming from South Korea, in fact, Samsung would have made an exclusive agreement with the developer to have the exclusive Fortnite on the Galaxy Note 9, flagship phablet of the South Korean company, whose launch is scheduled for August 9. If the rumor turns out to be true, Samsung would immediately become the favorite brand of all Fortnite fans.

Fortnite arrives on Android: exclusive on Galaxy Note 9

Fortnite should arrive exclusively for Android on the new Samsung Galaxy Note 9 and after about 30 days a new version for more Android devices should be released by Epic Games. This means that at least until mid-September we will be able to play Battle Royale and Fortnite only on Sasmung’s new top of the range Galaxy Note 9.

Could this ploy by Samsung and Epic Games be enough to push the sales of the new South Korean smartphone to the maximum? As if this were not enough to convince the most passionate consumers of video games for phones we say that those who buy the Samsung phablet will have as a gift, in addition to the Android version of the game, also 100/150 V-Buck (ie the virtual currency for in-app purchases in Fortnite). These V-Bucks can be spent to buy weapons or to customize and improve our characters in the game.

For Fortnite this appearance on the Android world could be the first major step to expand its user base. Suffice it to say that since it appeared on Apple’s iPhones in March 2018, the game has generated in-app earnings totaling $150 million in just four months.
