The Chinese manufacturer unveils two more top-of-the-line devices at all-too-competitive prices (albeit higher than in the past)
The OnePlus 7T Pro and the OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren Edition are the two surprises (then not even that much, given the leaks of the past weeks) that the Chinese manufacturer had kept in store for the European public. After unveiling the “standard” version of its latest top of the range smartphone during an event in India, OnePlus has decided to take advantage of the London stage to present the “evolved” versions of the same phone.
As you can imagine, the starting point is the already excellent OnePlus 7T. Compared to the starting model, however, the Chinese designers have made changes in both design and function, which have further improved a device already excellent in itself. Also on this occasion, the Italian price of the OnePlus7T, the OnePlus 7T Pro and the OnePlus 7T McLaren have further increased compared to the past and are increasingly close to those of competitors.
Features OnePlus 7T Pro: price and release
Esthetically identical to the OnePlus 7 Pro, the newly unveiled 7T Pro has the same size, the same weight and the same arrangement of keys and buttons of the model launched a few months ago. Changes, of course, the internal components, with the OnePlus 7T Pro receiving significant improvements over the past.
The display is a 6.67-inch diagonal OLED panel and QHD resolution (3120×1440 pixels), without notch or various inserts to accommodate the front camera. As seen in the previous model, in fact, the selfie cam is hidden in a motorized dowel, which appears only when you activate the photo function for selfies. Under the screen we find the Snapdragon 855+ accompanied by 8 gigabytes of RAM and 256 gigabytes of memory (with UFS 3.0 modules, to improve the speed of reading and writing data).
In the rear, however, we find a photographic compartment composed of three sensors: the 48-megapixel main one, accompanied by a 16-megapixel wide-angle secondary sensor and a telephoto lens with 3X optical zoom.
The OnePlus 7T Pro will be available from October 17 at a price of 759 euros (compared to 599 euros list price of the OnePlus 7T).
Features OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren Edition: price and release
Very few differences, however, with the OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren Edition. Aesthetically, this model is noted for the papaya orange, which recalls the official livery of the Formula 1 car, and some alcantara inserts. In terms of technical features, however, the only difference lies in the amount of RAM: 12 gigabytes instead of 8 gigabytes. The device will be available from the beginning of November at a price of 859 euros.
