Mudita Pure is a latest generation smartphone, made entirely in Europe, but with a special feature: it is designed to eliminate all types of distractions. How many times, while working, studying or doing other activities, do you get distracted by the thousands of notifications on your phone? With Mudita this will no longer be possible.
More and more people are unable to take their eyes off their cell phones, sacrificing a good part of the day to type messages, play online games, watch videos on Youtube and so on. Mudita Pure was presented a few months ago on the famous crowdfunding platform Kickstarter and is now about to come to light: the first shipments will be available from May 2020. Thanks to a reduced price and its specifications and functions, it is preparing to conquer a large slice of consumers.

Mudita Pure is the brainchild of Michal Kicinski, founder of the software house CD Projekt, which also launched the hit video game The Witcher.
The project was a huge success on Kickstarter: it didn’t just exceed the set budget of €90,000, but raised more than €188,000. Once finished, it will be put on the market at around $369 (corresponding to €337).
People’s interest in cell phones equipped with essential functions continues to grow: the goal is to avoid any kind of distraction. There are even apps that prevent users from receiving notifications, messages or even go so far as to block the use of social networks for a certain number of hours per day. The objective is to reduce distractions caused by the device. Mudita responds to precisely this type of need. Defined by its developers, a minimalist cell phone, it is designed down to the smallest details to help users without invading their lives.
What are the most interesting features of Mudita Pure?
First of all, it doesn’t have any kind of social apps and browsers installed, and SAR levels are also very low. SAR stands for Specific Absorption Rate, and it measures the body’s exposure to a device’s electromagnetic fields.
But what can Mudita Pure do? It can make phone calls, send messages, but that’s not all. It also has a timer for meditation, bluetooth, and even a function called “do not disturb” that pauses any activity and can be easily activated thanks to a side slider.
Also, the display is of the e-ink type, so it does not emit blue light; the battery has a huge autonomy, lasting up to two weeks, as well as having the latest speakers that allow you to listen to quality music thanks to the integrated music player. The phone supports two Nano SIMs and has an audio jack. Another interesting feature is that the components and software were largely designed by the European company, including the operating system which is called MuditaOS.
