The next top of the range of the South Korean company will have as much as 8GB of RAM. The chipsets will be built with the new 10-nanometer technology
The rumors about the technical characteristics of the Samsung Galaxy S8 continue to get more and more insistent. The South Korean company is working to launch on the market a smartphone perfect down to the last detail. And for this reason the choice of hardware components is fundamental.
If there are few doubts regarding the chipset (the Galaxy S8 should mount the new version of Exynos with 10-nanometer architecture, the same as the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835), is the amount of RAM memory to create discussion in the world of telephony. Until now, the South Korean company has never gone beyond 4GB of RAM for its top of the range, but for the Galaxy S8 seems to want to do even a double flip, pushing up to 8GB of RAM. A choice that if confirmed would propel Samsung’s new top of the line to the top of the most powerful smartphones of 2017.
Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus
The next version of the South Korean top of the line is not expected to have an Edge version, but only a Plus model with a screen of more than 6 inches. In fact, both the “normal” Galaxy S8 and the Plus version mount an edge-to-edge screen, which have now become one of the usual features of the most expensive smartphones. The Galaxy S8 Plus should have the same hardware components as the “small” model, the only difference being the display. They begin to arrive also the first news about the date of presentation: the Samsung Galaxy S8 should be officially launched in April in an event organized in New York.
