Redmi has made the Note 11T official, a budget Android smartphone that nonetheless doesn’t lack some higher-end features
Surprisingly official Redmi Note 11T, an Android smartphone apparently unreleased but that, upon closer inspection, is nothing more than the variant intended for global markets of the very recent Redmi Note 11. It’s good news for us too, since in Italy Redmi markets the global versions of its products.
Neither Redmi Note 11T nor Note 11 are official in Italy for the moment, but judging by the line held in the past by the company created by Xiaomi, on the Italian debut of Redmi Note 11T there are not many doubts. The low mid-range smartphone will arrive, it’s just a matter of time, probably even a little. So it is worth seeing in detail what it has to offer and also the list price decided by the company for the Indian market: if it is true that in Italy Redmi Note 11T will cost (a little?) more, it is also the fact that it is always better to have a reference, an order of magnitude, rather than navigate in the dark.
Redmi Note 11T, how it is made
Redmi Note 11T is an Android smartphone that does not go too subtle, but that does not mean it has not allowed itself some “luxuries”. Such as the screen with 90 Hz refresh rate, a non-trivial endowment for a product that was born to be very price-conscious. It is of IPS type and has a diagonal of 6.6 inches, with Full HD + resolution, format 20:9 and protection in Gorilla Glass 3 from Corning.
To manage the operations controlled by the user on Redmi Note 11T there is the chip Dimensity 810 5G MediaTek with 2.4 GHz maximum frequency, made with 6-nanometer production process that should ensure a good compromise between performance and power consumption. In terms of memories there are up to 8 GB of RAM and up to 128 GB of storage of type UFS 2.2.
Two cameras included in the rear group of Redmi Note 11T: the main one with 50-megapixel resolution and f/1.8 aperture and an ultra wide-angle 8-megapixel sensor with 119-degree field of view. Videos can be taken in 1080p at up to 60 frames per second. On the front surface there is a 16 MP camera with f/2.5 aperture.
Appreciable the presence of IP53 certification that ensures a minimum of protection from dust and liquids, and two system speakers that realize the stereo effect, but if you want there is also the input for the 3.5 mm audio jack. Connectivity side Redmi Note 11T offers 5G, dual SIM, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.1 LE with A2DP, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, BDS, infrared emitter, USB-C but lacks NFC for payments.
Long battery life shouldn’t be a problem for the Redmi Note 11T, which boasts a 5,000 mAh battery with 33-watt fast charging that in an hour at the socket allows you to restart from 100%.
Dimensions of 163.6 x 75.8 x 8.8 mm and weight of 195 grams. Three colors: Aquamarine Blue, Stardust White, Matte Black.
Redmi Note 11T, how much does it cost
Redmi Note 11T, as mentioned, is the variant of Redmi Note 11 intended for global markets. For the moment it is marketed in India starting at 16,999 rupees, equivalent to about 200 euros. Should it arrive in our parts as well, it will certainly do so at higher prices due to taxes and logistics costs.
