Google, last year, launched the Popular Times feature – present in Google Search and Google Maps – that shows the times when a place is most crowded
The Mountain View company further improves the Popular Times feature with real-time updated information. Very useful for deciding – based on the turnout – whether to go, or postpone, in a mall, in a restaurant or to visit a museum.
Google’s first step was to provide the user with information about the peak or “quieter” times of all days of the week, as well as the number of people he would presumably find in a place at a given time based on statistics. But the system, still, wasn’t reliable. Now the information provided by Popular Times – a bit like traffic information – is secure because it’s coming in real time from every point of interest in Google Search and Google Maps.
Evitare folla, code e attese
Not bad, in short, as a help.
No more wasting time!
Popular Times, in short, not only allows you to control the turnout in a given place, but above all allows you to better manage and organize your time. Do we have a free day? We study a priori what we want to do, where we want to go, where we’d like to eat, and away the time is so optimized … a bit like always passing with the green light.
It was “time” for an update
Popular Times, finally, is also able to tell us the opening hours of stores, bars and restaurants, or when the home service of our favorite pizzeria starts or the shifts of pharmacies. Let’s say that every hour is the right one to consult Google Popular Times.
