If there is a smartphone that Apple fans are waiting for is certainly the iPhone Xr2, that is, the successor to the iPhone Xr that brought in the “mid-range” the features, design and quality of Apple while maintaining a price of about 700 euros. According to the latest rumors and reports coming from the Far East also in 2019 Apple will follow the policy of last year: to present three 2019 iPhones, two top of the range and a cheaper one.
The current iPhone Xr costs less because it has the LCD screen and not OLED, among other things with a not very high resolution (1,792×828 pixels, for 326 ppi), and a single rear camera, but thanks to the optimization of the A12 Bionic processor offers more than adequate performance and has a very good autonomy. It can record video at up to 4K and 60 fps while maintaining the ability to take 8 MP photos while recording video. The next iPhone Xr2, therefore, will have to follow the same path: good performance, low cost, small sacrifices widely bearable by the user.
How will the iPhone Xr2
Bringing together all the most reliable reports, news and rumors it is possible to speculate on the technical characteristics of the 2019 iPhone Xr2. The first difference from the current model should be in the rear camera department: two cameras and no longer one. The screen will still be 6.1 inches and with LCD technology, but it will probably be of higher quality (and resolution). Even the battery will be similar to the current one: it is assumed at most a 5-10% more capacity. We must remember, however, that the current Xr is the iPhone with the best autonomy of the range.
iPhone Xr2: colors, prices and when it comes out
Already today Apple markets the iPhone Xr in many colors (red, yellow, white, coral, black and blue) and it is predictable that it will do the same with the second version of the Xr. The new lavender and green colors are speculated and that the iPhone XR2 will have pastel and non-glossy colors. As for prices, however, the most likely hypothesis is that Apple will sell the iPhone Xr2 at a launch price there about 700-750 euros, similar then to that of the predecessor. As for the launch date, however, there is talk of a presentation event for all three 2019 iPhones in September. Marketing is expected to begin in early October.
