Within the Activity Log you can find every action we take on Facebook, from likes to comments to published posts
Most of us have been using Facebook for years. On the social media we have accumulated memories, thoughts, photos and videos of our lives. All confidential and important information. We mustn’t forget that Facebook saves our every action, from shares to comments and even likes.
Is there a method to verify the multitude of actions taken and information entered on the social network? The answer is yes. Thanks to the section called Activity Log we will be able to see every single operation done with our profile within Facebook since the moment we registered. To access the activity log you just need a few clicks. First, connect to the social, login and go to the menu on the home screen. This is the icon marked by the downward-pointing arrow at the top right. Clicking on the menu will open a new tab, scroll to the item Activity Log and click on it.
What is the Facebook Activity Log
In the activity log we will see every single post, like, photo or video we have entered or commented on. Next to each content we will see who has viewed it, for example all our contacts or only a certain circle of contacts we have chosen, or the friends of a contact (if we have liked or commented on someone else’s post).
Beware of applications
Some applications within the social network require permissions that may affect our privacy. For example, there are apps that post and like for us. The Activity Log is the section to view to verify that no such service is active on our account. If there is an application that is performing activities with our account without our will, delete it immediately and delete any content posted by it.
Delete Content
As mentioned, in the Activity Log you can also delete an action performed on Facebook and then make it invisible to others. To do this, just locate the unwanted content and go to the pencil icon and click on it. This will open a menu from which we’ll select the option that will let us delete a comment or post or remove the like.
