Wind, in 2020 the bills will be monthly: what changes for users

The orange operator is preparing to launch a campaign of remodulation of fixed telephony contracts. The increases will be triggered by January 2020

Bad news for those who have a Wind Tre fixed network and Internet contract: starting in January 2020 the increases will be triggered, as well as changing the billing period, which goes from bimonthly to monthly. So with a bill every month and no longer every two months, from January 12.

This last change will bring an indirect increase in costs for those who have chosen to receive the paper bill at home or to pay with postal bulletin: each mailing costs 2 euros, but the mailings go from 6 to 12 per year. Like the other operators who have raised the price of subscriptions in recent months, Wind Tre also justifies itself by talking about rising costs to maintain a high quality of service. The entire fixed-line market, in fact, has been characterized by small but constant price increases for several months: even before Wind Tre, for example, Vodafone will increase the price of fixed-line and Internet offers, as early as December 8.

Wind Tre increases: how much more you pay

In comparison with other operators, Wind Tre is proceeding with a less heavy subscription price increase: 2 euros per month. Vodafone, for comparison, from December will increase prices by 2.99 euros. The Wind Tre price increases will affect all connection technologies (ADSL, Fiber to the cabinet, Fiber to the home and even the very old ISDN) and, consequently, all subscriptions currently offered by the company and those inherited from the past: 3 Internet, 3 ADSL, 3 Fiber, Absolute, Absolute ADSL 20 Mega, Absolute ADSL Affari, Absolute ADSL Affari 20 Mega, Absolute VoIP MB, Absolute+, All Inclusive, All Inclusive 120, All Inclusive 120 Affari, All Inclusive Unlimited, All Inclusive Unlimited Affari, Infostrada Tutto Incluso, TuttoIncluso, TuttoIncluso 20 Mega, TuttiIncluso 20 Mega Affari, TuttoIncluso Gold Affari, TuttoIncluso Gold ISDN Affari, TuttoIncluso Mega and Wind Internet. As you can see, the price increases also affect the business offers, but not the subscription Fiber 1000.

Rincari Wind Tre: how to withdraw from the contract

Wind Tre users who do not accept the unilateral remodulation of two euros per month of their fixed network subscription can still exercise their right of withdrawal. You can do so, as usual, by sending a registered letter to the registered office of Wind (Wind Tre Spa, Casella Postale 14155, Ufficio Postale Milano 65, 20152 Milan), by PEC, in a Wind Tre store, by calling the free numbers 155 and 133, from the Customer Area 3 or MyWind customer area.
