Some Iliad users report a rather annoying problem: despite calls and surfing, the minutes and gia counter doesn’t update
Problems of youth. This is how we can define the small problems that have accompanied Iliad in these first months. The new phone operator that has shocked the Italian market with low cost rates has had to deal with a couple of technical problems that have been resolved within a few hours or a few days.
After reaching the first million users, Iliad has launched a new offer that provides 40 GB of data traffic and unlimited minutes and SMS at a monthly cost of 6.99 euros.
The offer is limited to the first 500,000 users, exceeded the limit the phone company will propose a new rate of which nothing is known yet. The launch of the new offer took place last July 26 and it seems to have brought some problems within the reserved area. Some new Iliad customers have reported online that the minutes and data counter does not update despite intensive use of the Iliad SIM card.
Iliad counter problems, who are the affected users
Reading the reports of users on forums and social networks, the problem seems to affect a large number of people. Users have also reported the inefficiency to Iliad’s customer care, which was already aware of the fact since a couple of days and assured that technicians are working and the problem will be solved as soon as possible.
Analysis of the reports has shown that most of the customers affected by the meter anomaly are those who have subscribed to the new €6.99 offer. Most likely the problem concerns a communication defect between Iliad’s servers and the reserved area.
How to check the traffic consumed with Iliad
If you too have problems with Iliad’s meters, unfortunately there are no alternatives to check how much you have consumed. For the moment, in fact, there is no Iliad application that allows you to keep track of your subscription. You just have to pay close attention to the sites you visit and limit as much as possible watching streaming videos and listening to streaming music.
