Rojadirecta, the famous site to see illegal live streaming of soccer matches, will be forced to close its sites
Another defeat in court for Rojadirecta. The Spanish site, which allows the illegal viewing of soccer matches and any other sporting event will be forced to close shortly all sites present online. Since its creation, Rojadirecta has always been at the center of judicial vicissitudes, which have slowly limited the range of action of the Spanish site. After a similar ruling in November last year, the new decision of the Spanish judge almost puts an end to the life of Rojadirecta. The site has been accused of intellectual property infringement and Puerto 80 Projects SLU, the company that owns Rojadirecta, will be obliged to compensate Movistar+, a Spanish TV company. At the moment the amount of the compensation is not known.
The sentence of the Spanish court
In the last ten years there have been dozens and dozens of television companies that have denounced Rojadirecta for the illegal broadcasting of matches and sport events. With the latest sentences of the Spanish court it seems that for the pirate site the end is very close. In Italy it was already impossible to access Rojadirecta after the operation of the Guardia di Finanza in November last year that blocked more than 150 illegal sites broadcasting soccer, basketball, movies and TV series.
