Thirty or so new products also made in collaboration with Asus ROG: this is the debut of Ikea in the world of gaming, a business that can no longer be underestimated
The news was already known for some time, as well as the partner, and to it materializes: Swedish furniture giant Ikea has created a line of furniture dedicated to gaming enthusiasts and has created it in collaboration with an expert in the field: Asus ROG. The products of the new gaming line Ikea are about thirty, will be on sale from October in stores but you can already see now on the site Ikea.
A decision not entirely unexpected, given the importance that have acquired the furniture for gamers: every year, in fact, we sell millions of desks, chairs and anatomical accessories of all kinds dedicated to gamers. A market in which Ikea wants to enter, but so niche that his (huge) name was not enough to do so and, consequently, had to rely on Asus ROG that, on the contrary, is one of the most popular brands among gamers. It should be added, then, that more and more often gaming products are purchased even by those who do not even play and the reason is easy to explain: they are products that are very attentive to ergonomics, because gamers and streamers spend many hours sitting in front of the computer. A gaming product, therefore, is often useful for smart working as well.
Ikea gaming products: what are they
We’re talking about products and not furniture because, in fact, in addition to furniture Ikea has also presented many accessories. The assortment is divided into six product lines, which as always happens with Ikea furniture have unpronounceable names: UPPSPEL, LÅNESPELARE, MATCHSPEL, GRUPPSPEL, UTESPELARE and HUVUDSPELARE.
The contribution of Asus ROG was limited to the UPPSPEL line, while everything else was designed by Ikea. Overall we’re talking gaming desks and chairs, a chest of drawers, a cup holder, a mouse tensioner, a neck pillow, a ring lamp other accessories. The desks and chairs are divided into various price ranges: from 99 to 499 euros for desks, from 55 to 149 euros for chairs.
Ikea gaming accessories: what are they
Among these products, therefore, there are also accessories. They too will be appreciated even by non-gamers, since they can be very useful to those who spend a lot of time working on the computer.
