How to review deleted notifications on Android

On our devices are installed numerous applications. Sometimes it is difficult to check all the notifications that have arrived. It can also happen to delete some of them inadvertently. What to do in such cases? If you have an Android phone, there is a way.

This is a very simple procedure that only a few people know about. The system is really useful for reviewing deleted notifications from your devices. It is worth noting right away that the procedure may not work on phones made by Samsung. For all other smartphones, obviously must run Android, the technique to “recover” notifications can be put into practice in a few steps. How? Through a settings widget. Usually, to access these “shortcut” apps, you just need to hold down the home button for a few seconds. Have you tried it, but it didn’t work? Click on an “empty” part of the screen.

Now a series of options should open, usually at the bottom: select “Widget”. Now we can go into “action” and enable the function to review all notifications: you will be able to see newly arrived notifications or missed notifications.

Step to activate the widget

You have now clicked on Widget. How to proceed? Scroll through the different widgets and try to locate the one for settings. To be clear, this is the widget represented with the gear icon. Once you have identified the tool, which will allow you to review notifications that have been deleted by mistake, select it. Then you’ll find a new window in front of you: “Quick Shortcut Settings”. As you have surely noticed, in the screen there are several entries. Which one should you click? Simple: the option that is right for us is “Notification Log”.

And voila: from now on, to review all the notifications that arrived on Android, you’ll just have to click on the widget you just created and that’s it. As anticipated, all in all it was very easy. Wasn’t it?
