The 2018 Formula 1 World Championship begins on March 25. The challenge will once again be between Ferrari and Mercedes. Here’s how to follow it in streaming
Formula 1 is ready to reignite the engines: on March 25 on the street circuit of Melbourne will start the 2018 World Championship. An eight-month long journey (the last race will be held in Abu Dhabi on November 25) that will see the ten teams face each other on 21 different circuits (this year there is the return of the French GP on the Paul Ricard circuit).
The winter tests have not given very precise indications, but it seems that for the final victory the favorite teams are always the same: Mercedes, Ferrari and Red Bull. The team of the silver arrow seems to have solved the problems that had plagued it at the beginning of last year and it will be once again the favourite for the final victory: Hamilton is ready to go to the conquest of the fifth drivers’ title. But he will have to deal with Sebastian Vettel, ready to bring back the title of World Drivers’ Champion to Maranello more than ten years after the last victory, and with Max Verstappen, called to the final leap in quality.
The 2018 Formula 1 World Championship will be the first to see on the bridge of command Liberty Media, the U.S. company that bought the majority of shares from Bernie Ecclestone. The new U.S. owner is slowly bringing some news, starting with the new race schedule that will be held in Europe: the start will no longer be at 2:00 pm but at 3:10 pm, to make the product more attractive in the U.S. and Asian markets.
Where to watch Formula 1 2018
The television rights of the 2018 Formula 1 World Championship have been acquired by Sky, which will broadcast all 21 Grand Prix live on the Sky Sport F1 channel. The satellite TV has resold part of the television rights to TV8, a free digital terrestrial channel also owned by Sky. TV8 will be able to broadcast four Grand Prix live (Italian GP, US GP, Mexican GP, Brazilian GP) and the remaining seventeen in deferred. RAI, which until last year had acquired part of the rights from Sky, this year will only broadcast live the Italian GP, since it is an event worthy of being transmitted on public service.
Both on SkyGo, Sky’s online platform, and on TV8’s website it will be possible to follow Formula 1 2018 live streaming. All you need to do is access the two services and tune in to the channel during race hours.
Formula 1 2018: race times

The races that will be held on the American continent will start at 20:10 (Italian time), except the Brazilian GP that will start at 19:10.
