WhatsApp hides secrets. It may sound strange, but even the most used app in the world has hidden corners that few people know and use. There are some features or settings that no one takes full advantage of, partly out of carelessness and partly out of ignorance. One of these features, however, is very useful, especially to understand with whom we chat more on WhatsApp.
It may seem like a piece of information of little value, but in reality it turns out to be very important for the management of your private life. If we spend most of our time on WhatsApp, we can understand with whom we share the highlights of our day. But not only that. We can also figure out who we actually care about the most (whether it’s our friend or our partner). To get this information we don’t have to unlock any hidden function, but only use the tools that the application provides us with in the right way. Here’s how to figure out who you chat with the most on WhatsApp.

Who do we chat with the most on WhatsApp? With one of our friends? Or with the group of classmates? Who are the people we share most of our time with? All these questions can be answered by checking a simple WhatsApp setting. This is a trick that few people know, but that proves to be very useful to have a clearer idea of the time we spend on the application.
To find out who we talk to most on WhatsApp we have to access our profile, press on Settings, then on “Data usage and storage” and finally on “Data usage”. A screen will open with a list of all the users with whom we have exchanged the most images, videos and textual content. This “ranking” gives us a pretty clear idea of which people we converse with the most on WhatsApp during the day. The “ranking” could be distorted by sending some high-resolution video to some family member, but in principle it is quite true. The procedure is identical on both Android and iOS.
The trick to figure out who you talk to the most on WhatsApp (Android only)
Android users also have another way to find out which people they chat with the most on WhatsApp. You need to log into your account, hit Settings, then Chat, Chat History and finally Export Chat. The three conversations (one-on-one and group) that we find under the label “Frequently Contacted” are the ones we’ve talked to the most in the last few weeks.
