L’offerta di Sky si amplia a partire dal prossimo 1° luglio con 4 nuovi canali interamente dedicati alle serie TV, che saranno disponibili anche in streaming su NOW e on demand su Sky GO. These are Sky Series, Sky Investigation, Sky Documentaries and Sky Nature.
The number of channels offered by Sky thus rises to seven, expanding its catalog of content with a schedule that includes hundreds of titles each year and about 3000 hours of programming per month. Among the most anticipated shows are the final season of Gomorra 5, Ridatemi mia moglie with the return of Fabio De Luigi on television, the series A casa tutti bene by Gabriele Muccino and the thriller Diavoli which will star Alessandro Borghi and Patrick Dempsey. There will also be documentaries, including the return of Pif with Il Testimone. Here’s what’s new in the pipeline.
Sky Serie: the channel dedicated to TV series
A channel entirely dedicated to TV series will arrive at number 112 from July 1. Sky Serie offers a catalog with a wide variety of genres, from dramas to family sagas, and there will be no shortage of new Sky Original titles.
The schedule includes the dark comedy L’assistente di volo – The Flight Attendant, starring Kaley Cuoco from The Big Bang Theory. Also on the way is the miniseries I Luminari – Il destino nelle stelle starring Eva Green and the medical drama Transplant. There will also be evergreen titles such as Sex & The City and E.R. – Medici in prima linea.
Sky Investigation: space for the crime genre
On channel 114 from July 1 comes Sky Investigation, entirely dedicated to the crime genre with films and TV series ranging from detective stories to scientific detective stories, along with procedural dramas. Among the titles are the scientific detective story Coroner with Serinda Swan, the crime drama with action tinges The Executioner with Éric Cantona and The Equalizer, the remake of the series from the 1980s inspired by the film starring Denzel Washington and starring Queen Latifah.
Sky Documentaries: many new stories
Sky Documentaries will be dedicated from July 1 to channels 122 and 402, which will host in-depth and investigative documentaries, from music to the most interesting biographies. Pif’s Il Testimone (The Witness) stands out in the catalog, as does the miniseries Allen vs Farrow, which talks about the accusations made against the director, or the portrait of famous people: from former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to golf champion Tiger Woods.
Sky nature: a window on nature
Sky Nature will be available from July 1 on channels 124 and 404 with programs dedicated to exploring the beauty of the natural world and above all the environment. Users will find the best of international documentaries and reports on the environment. Among the titles, the docu-series Greta Thunberg – One year to save the world, about the life of the young activist between 2019 and 2020.
