Fortnite, the new “detonation” mode explained by Ninja and iKON

Created especially for the occasion. It is not certain, however, that it may soon debut in a limited time event

Last March 16 took place the “Level Up with Ninja X iKON”, the New York event of Fortnite which saw participants play against Ninja, one of the most famous streamers in the world, and members of the band K-Pop iKON. The South Korean team had never been in the United States of America and, for the occasion, the developers of Epic Games have paid tribute to him with the iKONIC skin, purchasable by all users of the terminals of the Samsung Galaxy S10 series.

Day of firsts also for Ninja, who tried for the first time Fortnite Mobile, on which basically revolved the initiative. The most important news, however, concerns the presentation of a new mode of the game: Detonation: Attack vs. Defense, which takes place on an island of its own, specifically dedicated to this version.

Playing is easy: the attackers must destroy two different ‘targets’ on the map, while the defenders must manage not to surrender to their attacks for a total of 10 minutes. This is a specially created mode; however, there’s no guarantee that it will make its debut in a limited time event soon.

To get an idea of the Detonation feature, you can check out the Level Up with Ninja X iKON screenshots and see if you’d be interested in this new game mode. Curious to try it out?
