The Redmi K30 Ultra is a low-cost smartphone but with features not to be underestimated. The first rumors about the smartphone come from the Chinese certification site TENAA. The new Redmi will feature a 6.67-inch screen equipped with a four-camera system on the back.

According to the rumors, the Redmi K30 Ultra’s display won’t have a notch or holes, but a camera hidden in a pop-up mechanism for selfies. The processor could be a MediaTek that supports 5G connectivity. The Redmi K30 Ultra will thus be one of the Chinese company’s flagship models, with a price tag that is likely to be under 500 euros. The release date has not yet been made official, but the launch could take place in the coming weeks, although in Europe it could be marketed under the Xiaomi brand.

Redmi K30 Ultra, the features of the top of the range

The new Redmi K30 Ultra smartphone, a company that is part of the universe Xiaomi, could be equipped with an octa-core processor MediaTek Dimensity 1000+, to also support 5G connectivity. There could be more than one models launched that differ in the amount of RAM and internal storage. The base version is expected to have 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, while the “premium” version is expected to have 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

From the leaked images on TENAA, the Redmi K30 Ultra’s screen will be 6.67-inch Super AMOLED FullHD+, with built-in infrared sensor and fingerprint reader. As for the front-facing camera, it could be a 20-megapixel hidden by a pop-up mechanism, as no holes or notch can be seen on the display. On the back instead, a round frame houses a quad configuration camera, with a 64-megapixel main sensor. The 4500 mAh battery will support 33 W fast charging. The new smartphone will be available in different color variants, certainly gray and blue.

Redmi K30 Ultra, launch date and price

As for the launch date, Redmi has not yet provided official indications but according to rumors it could arrive within the month of August. In Europe, the smartphone could be marketed under the Xiaomi brand. Still few confirmations even on the price, which would be under 500 euros, but will still be higher than in the Asian market due to the exchange value and taxes.
