The company has thought of a neural machine for the translation service while on the site A.I. Experiments you can test the novelties on artificial intelligence
Google is making great strides in the development of devices equipped with increasingly complex and structured artificial intelligence. As in the style of the U.S. company these innovations will not come from above to the user, but Google has opened its doors for everyone to test its innovations.
The improvements for Google Translate . Anyone who has ever tried Google Translate in his life knows that the service can be useful for single words or simple phrases, but in the complex translation of a text the reliability of the translation drops dramatically. This is something that Google also knows and that’s why it is implementing the service with a neural machine for translations. This will allow a higher quality of service. For the moment, this novelty will be valid for 8 languages: English, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese, Japanese, Korean and Turkish. That is to say, 35% of all the translations done with Google Translate. But soon the service in Italian will also arrive.
A peek at Google’s A.I Experiments
(Taken from YouTube)
Google has allowed users to take a peek at its A.I. Experiments site, the portal where it’s testing new types and purposes of artificial intelligence. Several web applications that anyone can test. There is for example a little game where the artificial intelligence understands what we are drawing, or a project related to the camera that recognizes what we are framing. There’s also a music application that can play “duets” with us while we play or sing. And there’s also a fun app called Giorgio Cam that creates lyrics for songs from the objects we frame with our camera. Google has released several source codes of its artificial intelligence experiments on GitHub, so that developers and enthusiasts can increase development from Google’s initial ideas.
