A new comedy series is coming to Prime Video: what Harlem is about, who the cast is composed of and when it comes out on streaming
Amazon is preparing to launch a new all-female comedy series set in New York City, where love and friendship intertwine. Harlem is the story of four friends who hail from the neighborhood of the same name, considered the mecca of Black Culture in the U.S.
The television series is an Amazon Original product and was created by Tracy Oliver, former writer of Girls Trip, who is also its executive producer. For the launch of the first season of Harlem on Prime Video, the talent Jade Purple Brown was commissioned to create a special artist poster. The poster features the main characters: four ambitious friends from Harlem, who will experience the transition from their twenties to the next stage of careers, relationships and dreams. In anticipation of the debut, details about the cast are beginning to arrive: the main characters are Meagan Good, Grace Byers, Shoniqua Shandai and Jerrie Johnson, but there will be no shortage of recurring guest stars including Whoopi Goldberg.

Tye, on the other hand, is the creator of a dating-app for queer people, who, however, prefers to keep her vulnerabilities and potential partners at a distance. Angie is a vivacious, unfiltered and confident actress and singer who lives with Quinn, a fashion designer and incurable romantic trying to get her business off the ground.
