So far, however, this technology has been developed with voice commands, but the company Daptly wants to “see more clearly”.
To make a personal assistant visual, the company Daptly has created a display that may seem at first glance a simple mirror. In reality, inside it hides an artificial intelligence that is ready to help us in everyday actions and that can be managed with simple gestures. The idea is not simply extravagant but comes from a necessity. Often, in fact, voice assistants fall into error because they misunderstand our words. It can happen to ask something about a trip and find yourself reading the results about the birth of the name Biagio.
How Display Daptly Works
The beauty of having an assistant inside a mirror is that the results will be visible clearly and through images or symbols. To interface with the product Daptly we can ask questions, like a classic voice assistant, or use gestures. With a movement of the hand you can close the display and the accessory returns to being a simple mirror, in a very discreet way. And you can also flip through the results with hand gestures, so you don’t constantly dirty the display. Moreover, the Daptly Display features facial recognition, to recognize the person with whom you are interacting and adapt the results to be shown. Through this device you can also set the lights and smart thermostats of the house.

As for the models there are two variants, one that is a classic mirror and the other that when not in use shows images uploaded via wireless. At the moment the device is available at the special price of 554 euros, while it will enter the market with the launch price of 739 euros. Shipments will begin next December.
