Film fans, report! Netflix has plenty of new releases in store for 2020. The catalog of movies, TV series and programs of all kinds will be richer than ever. A few weeks after the Golden Globes, the platform makes known all the titles coming to Italy in the next 12 months. Action and Fantasy movies coming to Netflix in 2020
We start with a genre beloved by Netflix users, action and fantasy movies. Among the most anticipated stands out The Old Guard, directed by Gina Prince-Bythewood and starring Charlize Theron and Kiki Layne and others. It tells the story of a group of immortal warriors who will have to fight against an enemy as their identity is revealed to the world.
The Platform is a dystopian sci-fi film about a society where criminals are locked inside vertically arranged cells where food is dropped from above, leaving those on the lower floors in a constant state of hunger and rage.
The third highly anticipated action film is Spenser Confidential directed by Peter Berg and starring actor Mark Wahlberg, an explosive pair who have already collaborated on other successful films.
Many biographical films coming to Netflix in 2020
The platform is enriched with content that takes inspiration from the lives of famous people, historians, and in general from reality. Among the most anticipated biographies we find Miss Americana, which will tell the life of Taylor Swift.
Great expectations for Mank, the new film by David Fincher (director of Seven, Fight Club, Gone Girl). It will tell the story of the writing of Quarto Potere, famous film by Orson Welles. The cast is exceptional: among many we find Gary Oldman, Charles Dance and Lily Collins and Amanda Seyfried.

The Boys Band is the new comedy by Joe Martello, a re-adaptation of a play of the same name that tells the story of a group of gay friends who decide to celebrate the birthday of a friend. During the party, the friends will be involved in a series of funny adventures.
The second installment of The Kissing Booth, a movie released on Netflix in 2018, is also coming. It is a teen movie that tells stories about college, first loves and small dramas.
