Xbox Game Pass, you can pre-load incoming games

Thanks to the new feature you will be able to download incoming games before they are available, to have them ready

Clear way to pre-load incoming games for Xbox Game Pass subscribers. Thanks to the update of November 30, those who have subscribed can pre-load the titles available for Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S, as well as take advantage of other new features integrated in the update.

There are several new features introduced with the update released on the last day of November, in addition to the one that allows players to finally be able to transfer the new games in the “Coming Soon” section to their console. These are interesting steps forward that aim to improve the user experience, especially for those who have recently purchased the new consoles from Microsoft, or Xbox S and X, and that will now be able to fully enjoy the interesting features that distinguish them.

Xbox Game Pass, how it works pre-loading

Making the pre-loading of games is a simple operation: in fact, once the titles are available in the section “Coming soon”, you can start the operation via console or app for iOS and Android. If the games don’t support this feature, you can book the pre-loading by queuing up with other players, and when it becomes available, the game will automatically complete the process. This is an interesting new feature, especially useful for those who want to get their hands on titles from the first hours of release and without unnecessary long waits.

Xbox Game Pass, the other new features of the update

Another novelty made by the update Game Pass, in addition to allowing you to pre-load titles, is that relating to the dynamic backgrounds to choose from. As you can easily imagine, this opportunity is specific to the next-generation consoles, namely X|S. Despite the futuristic look, there is no shortage of homages to the older generations of Xbox that many hours have enjoyed in the past.

Auto HDR is another interesting feature of the November update. This is a system that can convert SDR (standard dynamic range) titles to HDR (high dynamic range) on the fly, without necessarily having to return to the sender and require the intervention of developers. To use Auto HDR, simply open the Xbox Guide during the game using the corresponding button on the controller. In the screen that appears, just select the item with the same name and you’re done.

Last but not least is the possibility of adding members of your family in the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S consoles during setup. This mode, therefore, is in addition to the one available since September that allows the same operation via the Android and iOS application.
