The Nokia 2 will mount a Snapdragon 212 processor and will have a gigabyte of RAM. It should be presented on October 5 and launched at a price of about 150 euros
Nokia is back, after a period of “reflection”, now for several months, trying to take back a slice of that market that for years had dominated. After presenting the Nokia 8, the Finnish brand, according to some rumors, would be ready to unveil a new smartphone, the Nokia 2, perhaps coming next October 5 (although the latest rumors move the date to November).
Images, which portray what could be the new phone produced by HMD Global, have recently appeared on the net. From the shots it would seem that the Nokia 2 will have a 5-inch screen with thin edges. The display, however, does not reserve any particular surprises and will in fact be a simple, always referring to rumors, HD panel. The next Nokia smartphone will have a body, as is evident from the renderings spread on the internet, in polycarbonate. The phone will be a mid-range device.
Features Nokia 2
Let’s move inside. The Nokia 2, according to the alleged leaks, will mount two different processors, depending on the target market. The phone made by HMD Global on behalf of the Finnish company, in fact, will run on the Snapdragon 212 . As for the other technical features, rumors claim that the RAM memory of the Nokia 2 will be only one gigabyte. Probably there will be, next to the version with a single card, the dual-sim one. The smartphone will not have any fingerprint reader.
On the front of the photo compartment, the Nokia 2 will have a simple 8-megapixel camera with LED Flash on the back side, while on the front shell the sensor is 5 MP. The most interesting feature of the Finnish smartphone, a distinctive feature of the old Nokia phones, is the battery. In fact, rumors claim that the Nokia 2 will have a 4000 mAh unit, which will ensure the phone a long battery life. The smartphone will mount the Android Nougat version.
Price and release date Nokia 2
The cell phone of the Scandinavian company will be presented in two colors (at least so you notice from the images): black and gray. If the news circulated in these hours will be confirmed, the Nokia will be launched in November (at first it was out for October 5, but then the date was moved to the following month) and will start from 160 dollars, less than 135 euros according to the current exchange rate.
