How to enable the screen recording function on an iPhone
In order to start recording in real time the activities that occur on the screen of your iPhone, you must first enable the recording function. Generally, it is disabled by the system and must be enabled manually in a few easy steps.
You just need to go to Settings, then enter the Control Center and then the Customize Controls area. Among the items you can find the one called Screen Recording and by tapping on its + icon, the recording function is automatically included among the enabled ones. Once these short steps are done, the iPhone’s screen recording feature is officially enabled.
To access the ability to record the display, you’ll just need to call up the Control Center afterwards, by swiping from the bottom to the top of the display, and press on the button with the recording icon, represented by the two concentric circles. With iPhone X, you can do the same by swiping down from the top-right corner of the screen, and start the recording function from there.

A countdown will then warn of the imminent start of screen recording, after which the iPhone will start recording everything that will happen on the display. At this point, you can swipe down from the Control Center and perform all the operations you want to record, save and eventually share.
As long as you’re recording, a red bar will appear at the top of the screen, indicating that the recording is in progress, so you can easily check if it’s working.
