ZTE is about to unveil a new smartphone with an under-screen camera, but this time the important sensors are behind.
ZTE is ready to unveil its new smartphone, Axon 30 Pro. The date set in the calendar for the official debut of the model is April 15 and, for the occasion, the manufacturer has staked everything on a photo compartment of the highest quality: three super cameras, protagonists of the first official image of the phone.
The announcement of the presentation has been shared by the manufacturer based in Shenzhen that, anticipating the fateful date, has already released the teaser photo of what will be among its flagship smartphone of the season within the long-awaited series 30. As you can easily guess just from the first name that has been assigned by the Chinese company, ZTE Axon Pro will be the most advanced and performing model in the range coming and will be accompanied on the market by several variations on the theme characterized by a technical sector, not only photo / video, from the features likely to be more contained.
ZTE Axon 30 Pro, the cameras
As the most attentive could not help but notice in the presentation photo, ZTE Axon 30 Pro plays its best cards through a photographic module of all respect. Inside, there are three lenses with as many 64 MP sensors, as confirmed by the wording 3×64 reported near the fourth module, dedicated to telephoto.
From the same photograph you can also see the setup dedicated to the periscope camera, another detail that in any case could only concern the Pro model of the ZTE 30 series. There is no trace of the 200 MP sensor about which there were persistent rumors in recent weeks, in fact, in the image there is no detail about it. Instead, it is taken for granted the presence of a front-facing camera under the screen, which was already the feature of last year’s model.
ZTE Axon 30 Pro, the other features
On the front side, another camera shows – so to speak – its presence. It is a second-generation module, hidden under the screen with 120Hz refresh rate. The entire smartphone should be driven by one of the most powerful processors currently on the market, Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 – another exclusive to the Pro -, as seen from the dedicated page on the Chinese shopping site JD.com. Confirmed, on the other hand, by the 3C certification is the support for 55W fast charging.

ZTE will present its new top-of-the-line smartphone on April 15, but has not yet provided a precise date for the market debut of the new 30 series. In all likelihood we will have to wait at least until April 30.
In fact, on that day will close the competition organized by ZTE that will give away its new and powerful smartphones to some lucky winners. For all others, however, the appointment to be able to touch the new model is only postponed.
