Polaroid goes old school again with Pop, the camera with printer

At the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, there was also room for Polaroid. The American company, famous for having invented instant photography, presented a new digital camera with built-in printer capable of taking and printing photos in a few tens of seconds.

Pop, this is the name of the device of Polaroid, is a plastic camera and attractive design. It is a high-resolution instant camera with a square shape and an almost 4-inch LCD display. The operation is typical of a Polaroid product. Pop in fact, thanks to Zink technology, is able to print directly the photos taken. Another distinctive feature is given by the format of the photographs that takes the famous 3×4 of the first Polaroid. Pop is a camera that combines in a single object the classic instant photography of the U.S. company with the current technology.

This means that Pop is capable of reproducing high quality images on paper. High Resolution printing is also guaranteed, as seen, by Zink technology. This is an innovative process that allows you to print photos on a special paper without using ink. Pop is activated simply by pressing the big red button located in the lower right corner on the front of the device. The camera also integrates the SD card slot, as well as the port that serves to recharge the battery.
