The legendary couple that has entertained millions of people will become a videogame developed by an Italian team. The fundraising on Kickstarter has started
The most emblematic couple of Italian cinema is back to life in the form of a video game. We’re talking about Bud Spencer and Terence Hill, the legendary duo that conquered millions of fans between the ’70s and the ’80s with their irreverent comedies.
The project developed by an Italian team is looking for the necessary funds on the crowdfunding platform Kickstarter: to complete Slaps & Beans will require 130,000 euros. There are still forty days until the end of the fundraising but the goal is still quite far away: in fact, the video game has only obtained donations for thirty thousand euros. The dream is to collect enough money to buy the copyrights of the Oliver Onions songs, without which the game would lose much of its charm. Donations start from a minimum of five to a maximum of seven thousand euros.
How to play Slaps & Beans
The video game was born as a development of the demo presented some time ago on the site Slaps & Beans. The gameplay is very simple; Slaps & Beans is a scrolling fighting game that takes some scenes from the most important films of the couple. In addition, for fans of the series, mini-games will be available that will allow you to “drive” the mythical Dune Buggy. The retro graphics and the classic fighting style of the Bud Spencer and Terence Hill TV series will be a real gift for fans of the couple. Finally, there is also a multiplayer mode where you can slap all those who try to get in the way of the couple’s plans. If the collection goes through, the game will be available from December 2017.
