On the Net appeared the first images of the covers of the smartphone Huawei P30 Pro, a device with 5 rear cameras and with the Kirin 980 on board
In the last year, smartphones have changed: first it was the turn of the notch, the notch present at the top of the screen and containing sensors and cameras, then came the phones with the retractable camera (see the Vivo Nex) and finally appeared devices with at least three rear cameras. Marking the furrow was Huawei, launching at the beginning of the year the P20 Pro (three rear cameras) and then presenting the Mate 20 Pro (with as many as four cameras). The Chinese company, however, does not seem to want to stop and according to the first official images on the next Huawei P30 Pro we will have five rear sensors..
The indiscretion comes from a Chinese company that makes covers for all Huawei models. The company has published the photo of the new covers for the Huawei P30 and the Huawei P30 Pro. On the cover of the P30 Pro we can clearly see the space for the five photo sensors, placed vertically on each other. This is a significant step forward from previous rumors that talked about a phone with “only” four rear cameras. Instead, the smartphone with four photo sensors will be the P30.
Huawei P30 Pro: the smartphone with 5 cameras
The differences in the photo compartment between the Huawei P30 and the Huawei P30 Pro are also in the position of the Dual Led Flash as well as the number of rear cameras. On the P30 we find the Flash placed exactly below the four vertical photo sensors, while on the P30 Pro the Dual LED Flash is placed laterally next to the sensors. On board on both models we will find Huawei’s flagship processor, namely the Kirin 980, the same present on the Mate 20 Pro.
When will we see the two new top of the range Huawei? The latest rumors tell us about the Chinese company already ready to launch the device, and according to several market analysts Huawei is doing everything to present the P30 and P30 Pro as early as late February at the Mobile World Congress 2019 in Barcelona. However, it seems much more likely that Huawei will confirm last year’s launch period for the P20, namely the last week of March. We should therefore have the chance to start pre-ordering Huawei’s P30 or P30 Pro around early spring 2019.
