For work sometimes it’s very convenient to switch between using a smartphone and a computer, so here’s how to connect an Android device with Windows 10

You work on multiple projects between smartphone and computer and every time you have problems and lose time to switch between devices. However, this problem is easily overcome by synchronizing an Android phone with a PC, so here’s a guide to figure out how to connect your smartphone to your computer.

It has been said that using some desktop apps for the PC you can view the contents present in our smartphone and thus move files, open and even edit them and even move all the various work documents to the cloud to have them on any other device in our possession. However, these actions are not as immediate as connecting an Android smartphone to a PC. An operation that allows us with one click to continue a work already started on the phone on the computer screen. To do this, we don’t have to download any third-party applications or “fiddle” with our notebook, just use the program pre-installed on every PC with Windows 10 operating system and that we can find in the Settings of our device.

How to connect your Android phone to your PC Windows 10

To connect our Android smartphone to the PC we go to the Start menu of the Windows 10 computer, it is the icon in the lower left in the shape of a small window. Here we look for the Settings item and click on it. Alternatively we can type Settings in the search bar at the bottom left and then press enter. In the settings page we have to click on the Phone Option, the second one from the left. We will arrive in the tab renamed Your Phone and here we have to click on the Add a phone option. In order to complete the operation it is important that both devices are connected to the same Internet line. At this point we must enter our phone number on the computer and then Windows 10 will send us a message with a link on which to press on the smartphone to connect the two devices. In practice, with this operation we will install Microsoft Launcher on our Android device. At this point, if it’s the first ever access from the phone on the Redmond app we have to enter our Microsoft credentials and we’ll be ready to switch on any project from one device to another without any problems.
