Twitter, situation more serious than expected. Survival at risk?

The microblogging site’s days are numbered. For Trip Chowdhry, the market value of the stock is destined to fall by 44%

Twitter would be ready to close store. The shock announcement, as also read on CNBC’s portal, came from one of the most reliable market analysts, Trip Chowdhry. According to the director of Global Equities Research, the real value of the stock would not exceed 10 dollars.

A real de profundis that confirms the crisis of microblogging, which the founder of the social network Jack Dorsey has tried to stop by launching a significant policy of spending review. Starting from the Italian offices in Milan that will be closed next January. And to lose out will obviously be the employees who, in all likelihood, will be fired. The American company has also tried to look for buyers on the market without however finding a suitor seriously interested in taking over the majority package. Further sign that the future of the social network is not one of the rosiest.

Twitter loses ground on the Stock Exchange

Probably in the end Twitter, despite the crisis, will be purchased by some big. A few weeks ago, in fact, the news has circulated that the microblogging would be finished in the sights of three major companies: Alphabet (Google), Saleforce, the leading company in computing clouding, and Disney. In previous months, however, there had been talk of Softbank, a Japanese corporation specializing in telecommunications services. Rumors that have failed, however, to raise the value of the stock of the American company that in recent days instead continues to fall: at the moment it is stationary at $ 17, but according to Trip Chowdhry the stock is destined to lose a further 44%, reaching a share of $ 10.

In the meantime, there are many to abandon the sinking boat. The uncertain future of the social network has pushed, in fact, many top managers to leave Twitter. Among the resigners we find the head of technology Adam Messinger, who in a tweet has announced his choice to say goodbye to the microblogging.
