The first weekend of Serie A has been characterized by some problems on the new platform Dazn, here’s how to solve them and see the matches well in streaming
With the return of the soccer championship many users have wondered how to watch streaming Serie A matches. This year the television rights of the top Italian series have been divided between Sky, which exclusively broadcasts 266 matches, seven for each round of the championship, and the new (on Italian territory) online platform DAZN. To watch all of Serie A, you need to subscribe to both services.
The season debut of DAZN, however, was not flawless. Many have complained of numerous disruptions during the live streaming of the three matches aired on DAZN. The platform, which broadcasts three Serie A matches every week, in the first weekend offered its subscribers the challenges between Lazio-Napoli, Sassuolo-Inter and Parma-Udinese. Above all, the first two matches, which attracted a larger number of viewers, registered a number of problems. Specifically, there were continuous interruptions, sudden freezes in the application or delays in the transmission of the matches.
DAZN has assured that from the next days of the championship there will be no more problems and that the slowdown of the first matches were caused by the high number of registrations that occurred close to the start of the matches. But if you still have problems in watching the matches in streaming on DAZN, here are some tips that will allow you to have a smooth view of the images of the race.
What is Dazn
For those who still do not know it, let’s try to explain what Dazn is before understanding how to improve the quality of streaming of soccer matches within the platform. Dazn (pronounced DA-ZONE) is a television platform in the United Kingdom and is part of the Perform group. It is basically a service born with the intention of being the Netflix of sports. At the moment, in addition to Italy, Dazn allows you to watch soccer and other sports without cable or dish in several countries: Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Canada and Japan. To access Dazn all you need is a monthly subscription, an Internet connection and an electronic device such as a smartphone, tablet or PC, but also Smart TV and game consoles. The cost? 9.99 euros per month, and you can also share the account with a friend or relative because the devices allowed and on which to watch Dazn simultaneously are two. The first month’s trial is free. But which matches can be seen exclusively on Dazn and not on Sky? Dazn has purchased the television rights to three exclusive matches for each weekend of the Serie A. On Dazn we will always see the advance on Saturday at 20:30, the lunchtime match on Sunday at 12:30 and finally a challenge on Sunday at 15. This scheme is not fixed in the case of rounds with particular times (as in the first round of Serie A) in fact the games available to Dazn could have different times than usual. In addition to Serie A on Dazn you can see the La Liga, Ligue 1, Serie B, the English League Cup and the Copa Libertadores, as well as many other sports such as rugby, rally, American baseball and even the darts championship. Dazn is an on-demand platform, which means that even if we had not seen the game live, once we get home or when we have a moment of free time, we can see it again (or follow the highlights) from one of our devices.
How to watch the matches on DAZN without slowing down
Let’s face it, the fault of the inefficiency of Dazn in the first round of the championship depends on many factors. In some cases it has been the connection of the users to lower the quality of the matches seen in streaming while in other cases the fault is the Dazn network that has failed to ensure a quality transmission when the number of users connected, especially in view of the big match, has increased exponentially. If the problem was given by the home connection we can make some changes to see the matches on DAZN without problems.
While the hope is that after a first phase of adjustment in Italy the on demand platform of the Perform group will improve its network in order not to have more inefficiencies even in case of high traffic.

Finally, we pay particular attention to computer security. A slow network for no real reason can mean that a hacker has tried to take over our router.
