La seconda stagione di Summertime arriva su Netflix il 3 giugno e apre ufficialmente l’estate 2021. Sarà prodotta da Cattleya e vedrà come protagonisti alcuni ragazzi della prima stagione, oltre a importanti nuove comparse. The screenplay is instead signed by Enrico Audenino and Francesco Lagi, who collaborated with Daniela Gambaro, Luca Giordano and Vanessa Picciarelli. It will be a new season for all the characters, involved in new loves but also struggling with projects for the future. The series is a classic teen drama with an Italian flavor, perfect for the whole family.
Summertime 2: plot and soundtrack
The kids of Summertime meet again a year later. This season is also set during summer vacation, in the sparkling Adriatic coast. In fact, the content was made with the support of the Emilia-Romagna Film Commission. With the good season, Summer, Sofia and Edo, three friends who have just passed their high school exams and are starting to think about their future, also return.
In the meantime, Ale now lives in Spain with his new girlfriend Lola, but he too comes to Italy for the summer. Then there is Dario, who is looking for his own way. Once again, the central theme of the TV series is love, accompanied by an intense soundtrack.
Music will play a crucial role in Summertime 2, allowing the audience to completely immerse themselves in the summer and adolescent mood. Among the authors involved stands out the young singer-songwriter Aries, who will also be the protagonist of a cameo in the series, where she will bring the unreleased song entitled “L’ultima notte”.
There will also be the music of Coma_Cose, veterans of their success at Sanremo. The singer-songwriter Thony will play Isabella and will bring two new songs: “Trouble me too” and “We’ll be fine”. The soundtrack is completed by some of the best artists of the contemporary scene, such as Franco126, Carl Brave, Margherita Vicario, Gio Evan, Frah Quintale, Fulminacci, Psicologi ft Madame, Svegliaginevra, Venerus and many others.
Along with this music belonging to the new generations, there will also be great classics: “Il cielo in una stanza”, “Amore disperato” and “Il cielo è sempre più blu”.

Sofia è interpretata da Amanda Campana. Il suo unico progetto sembra essere una bella vacanza in Grecia, ma in realtà ha tante insicurezze. Durante l’estate troverà una nuova amicizia che le permetterà di conoscere meglio sé stessa.
