Sky, coming two new free channels for everyone

From April 4 Sky activates two new Cinema channels open to all subscribers, both satellite, digital terrestrial and fiber. Here’s what they are

The closure of the main economic activities and educational institutions in Italy will continue after April 3 and Sky has decided to continue its initiatives in favor of its subscribers due to Covid-19. From April 4 to 30 Sky will activate two new Cinema channels for all subscribers, including those who do not have an active package. The two new channels, as well as on satellite, will also be available on fiber and digital terrestrial at no additional cost.

The two channels will have a name designed specifically for the time we are living: Sky Cinema #IoRestoACasa 1 and Sky Cinema #IoRestoACasa 2. The first channel will be dedicated to films for the whole family, with content in first release that have received critical acclaim. The second channel, on the other hand, will be dedicated to adrenaline-pumping and exciting films that have written the history of cinema, such as Sergio Leone’s The Dollar Trilogy. The two channels will also be available on SkyGo and can be viewed on smartphones, tablets and PCs.

Where to see the new Sky Cinema channels

The two channels Sky Cinema #IoRestoACasa 1 and Sky Cinema #IoRestoACasa 2 are available at Sky’s 310 and 311 numbering on satellite and 471 and 473 on digital terrestrial. As mentioned above, the channels will be active from April 4 to 30 for all Sky subscribers at no additional cost.

On the channel Sky Cinema #IoRestoACasa 1 will be broadcast films such as “Il giorno più bello del mondo” by Alessandro Siani and “Mio fratello rincorre i dinosauri” with Alessandro Gassmann and Isabella Ragonese. These are first viewings recently released in cinemas. There will also be great classics such as the films of Alberto Sordi.

On the other channel, however, will air films where the adrenaline and emotion will be the master. There will be first-run films such as “Rambo – Last Blood” and then great Italian films such as “The First King”, “The Traitor” and “They Called Jeeg Robot”.

Sky’s April 2020 initiatives for the Covid-19 emergency

The activation of the two new Cinema channels is not the only initiative put in place by Sky for its subscribers in April.

For those who have all packages activated, they can watch some of the films on PrimaFila for free. In addition, it will remain open to all viewing until April 30 of the channels present in the Sport and Family packages for satellite and fiber subscribers. Sky has also started free streaming of some Sky Arte content: just log on to the site to see them online.
