Epic Games has disclosed the presence of numerous cheaters during the Fortnite World Cup tournament: for one of them the ban will be permanent.
The Fortnite World Cup, which officially began on April 13 with the online qualifiers, has already entered in full swing, both for better and for worse.
Epic Games – in addition to spreading all the news about the progress of the competition – has in fact made known a ban policy that has proved necessary, given the high number of cheaters participating in the tournament.
At the moment, there are more than 1,200 bans, some mild and others much more serious. 1,163 users – the majority of those banned – have been kicked out of the game for two weeks for violating rules on regional restrictions, and as many as 196 players have had to forfeit prizes they won. The more serious bans are fewer in number: eight players were banned for making informal alliances, while one player will be permanently banned from Fortnite, as the accusation is that he used real tricks within the game.
