IPhone X 2019: three models with triple camera

Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has his say on what the 2019 iPhones, or iPhone 11, will look like. Same size as predecessors, but new camera system

What will Apple’s new 2019 iPhone X look like? With triple camera and with the same display size than the current ones. The well-known analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who in the past has proven to be a very reliable source on Apple news, is convinced of this and has recently released his latest predictions on future Apple products.

Ming-Chi Kuo, we recall, has excellent contacts in the supply chain of Apple suppliers thanks to which he can often give an “inside” look at the changes in the range of the Cupertino manufacturer. The same Kuo, for example, leaked some anticipations about the next MacBook Pro and other novelties that the Cupertino house should present from the spring of 2019.

iPhone X 2019, technical characteristics

The new Apple smartphones, according to the analyst, will be three: two with OLED display and dimensions equal to those of the iPhone XS (5.8 inches) and iPhone XS Max (6.5 inches) and a third with LCD display (6.1 inches) and the dimensions of the iPhone XR. All three new 2019 models of Apple smartphones are expected to have the Face ID unlocking system and, as mentioned above, three cameras at the rear. Previous reports had speculated that only the iPhone 11 Max will have the three cameras, so this last feature should be taken a bit with a grain of salt.

What seems confirmed for all three devices, however, is the absence of the USB-C connector, in favor of Lightning. There should instead be two-sided wireless charging, meaning the ability to share charging with other devices simply by having them touch each other back to back, and “ultra-wide band” connectivity, which allows you to transmit more data when the device is within a few dozen meters of a cell tower. As for Face ID, however, Ming-Chi Kuo believes that Apple will equip its 2019 iPhones with a higher-powered Flood Illuminator to improve the accuracy of the device’s unlocking system.

Apple, what to expect in 2019

Other 2019 Apple news announced by Ming-Chi Kuo are two new iPad Pro models, with next-generation processors, and the long-awaited new version of the iPad Mini, also with a new CPU. As for the MacBook range, however, could arrive a new MacBook Pro with 16-inch screen and a completely revised design to which will be added a second one with a 13-inch screen and 32 GB of RAM (against 16 GB of the current model). Ming-Chi Kuo had also previously announced the arrival of AirPods 2 with wireless charging and a new iPod Touch with an updated processor. If all the analyst’s predictions turn out to be correct, 2019 will be a year to remember for Apple’s product lineup.
