Fallout 76 comes out on November 14: how it will be

Fallout 76, the famous action role-playing game, is ready to make its debut on PC and consoles, the title awaited by fans will be launched on November 14

One of the most famous titles among the action role-playing video games (RPG), namely Fallout, is ready for the official launch of its new version. Bethesda Softworks, the company that develops the video game, has announced that passionate gamers will be able to play Fallout 76 starting next November 14, 2018.

Since this date we will then see the action title on PlayStation 4, Windows 10 PC and Xbox One. If you’re wondering how much the game weighs, its size is 45GB. Obviously, like all titles in the Fallout series this new version will be set in a post-apocalyptic world and more specifically in a land devastated by a nuclear war. Bethesda developers have said that the game’s map will be four times larger than Fallout 4, an aspect that makes Fallout 76 the largest game ever among those in the series. It will be played entirely online due to the numerous multiplayer campaigns present in the game.

What Fallout 76 will look like

Fallout 76 is set in the West Virginia of the United States with a very 1950s atmosphere. The world will be in a panic due to a nuclear war that has practically destroyed civilization. And the players’ task will be to survive but also to restore civilization. Let’s say it right now: we’ll have to feed ourselves and get water. An aspect that some gamers found annoying on Fallout 4 or Fallout: New Vegas. It should be said that on Fallout 76 these needs will be less pressing than in previous chapters. Besides, we’ll also be able to customize and modify our base camp.

Great news is the absence of VATS, the combat system that slows down time to be able to make your moves with greater precision. The reason is simple: in a very large multiplayer map it is really difficult to integrate it. It must be said, however, that the VATS will not lack at all, there will be a minimum of slowing down when we try to hit a part of the opponent’s body and in this way we can focus more on precise and deadly blows. Of course, even if multiplayer will not lack the parallel missions that we can do in single player mode in order to grow our character and receive weapons and rewards single. To level up you use the “perk cards”, neither more nor less than the scoring system through perk already seen in previous Fallout titles. The great thing about perk cards is that you can trade them online with other players to customize your character and level up faster.

What happens if we lose a PvP or PvE fight, i.e. player versus player or player versus computer? We will lose the loot that we have gained in that mission and our weapons will be damaged so much that we will have to repair them. And we will restart from a previous point in the mission. For PvE, users will face a large number of beasts, including mutants, ghouls, deathclaw and new monsters such as the  “Scorchbeast”, a huge mutant bat. Whoever starts playing as an assassin, that is, who goes in search of other players on a mission only to kill them after a number of murders will be labeled as “wanted” and on his head will hang a bounty. Whoever manages to eliminate him will receive the reward. The goal of the game is in fact survival and overcoming the missions and not the massive killing in PvP.
