Assuming you have at least 8GB of RAM you should be able to run Windows 10 without a problem. A Core i5 is a mid-range processor, and is a Microsoft Windows compatible processor, additionally Windows 10 does not require a lot of processing power to run, it is more important the amount of RAM.
What you have to think about is how Windows 10 will run on that processor for specific tasks. However, I stress that Windows 10 will run on any modern processor, such as a Core i5.
This processor is within Microsoft's requirements for running Win 10.
Nothing else takes into account that the computer is more than the processor. To run Win 10, the computer must meet all the minimum requirements stipulated by Microsoft.
The unwritten rule says to take into account MS's minimum requirements and double them. (For example, if the minimum hard disk capacity is 100GB, get a 200GB hard disk.)
Curiously, MS only states that the processor must be a minimum of 1GHz, but does not specify whether it must be Pentium, i3, i5, etc.
No, it doesn't run it.
Because you're talking about processing, not task execution speed.
When you put how much RAM the motherboard has and the amount of hard drive, I'll edit my answer.
