Every time I turn on my computer Chromium opens by itself, how do I prevent this from happening? If I uninstall it, won't Chrome, the browser I usually use, also be uninstalled?

In Windows 7, go to the Start menu and in the search box type msconfig. (Or press Windows key + R) and then type msconfig.

Press Enter: In the new window, click on the Windows Startup tab: Uncheck the boxes for programs you no longer want to start automatically and restart the PC.

Or try uninstalling it, by going to control panel → programs and features --> uninstall programs.

If you uninstall it you won't take chrome with it as they are different browsers.
