How to enable Android WebView?

As far as I know, since Android 7.0 (Nougat) the WebView component was merged with the Google Chrome browser, to improve memory usage (since you wouldn't have to have two browsers).

I understand that if you uninstall Google Chrome, and you don't have any other browser installed, then Android will start using WebView again.
