You can't talk about Gigabytes on the ENIAC, it didn't even have a hard disk, no RAM either... It used vacuum tubes, electromagnetic switches, crystal diodes and capacitors... Everything was handled manually, the memory of the ENIAC was handled by electromagnetic pulses that allowed to store in a certain way, so to speak, some of the operations it carried out...
