I have not turned off my phone since I bought it, except once I had to do it for some nonsense that I no longer remember.
In iOs is not so common to have to restart the phone to problems, I'm not saying it can not happen (Because sometimes, it crashes, like any electronic device), but the reality is that it happens much less than in all Android I've had in my life.
As an anecdote, that time I had to restart it, it was so long since I had to enter the PIN, I forgot what it was and I had to go get it to the card (I had made a duplicate and I had not changed it yet).
No, it doesn't.
I never turn my phone off except out of necessity (for example, when asked to do so on a plane), and my iPhone 5s has been running smoothly for four years. You could argue that one case doesn't make law, but it's just that this is the first time I've read anything like this question. I frequent a lot of tech websites and not even the most anti-Apple ones have ever read such a thing.
It's not that iPhones break down, it's just that they accumulate a lot of temporary files, and these can sometimes slow down the performance, which are only removed by resetting the system!
The important thing is not to stress the battery as it is the one that wears out the most with continuous use. Do not use it intensively when it is plugged in and recharge it if possible from 40 to 60 percent.
