Try to run it, to see if you don't need a .dll or if you don't have problems with Directx, it's not so common anymore, but 12 years ago it was very common that there were problems and you had to reinstall Directx because it would delete something when installing some games. It happened to me many times when reinstalling Ragnarok Online or Call of Duty in an internet cafe where I worked.
