If a person has child pornography on his computer, does he automatically become a pedophile? If he has children, is he a danger to them?

It is a tremendous mistake to call it child pornography because it assumes that minors somehow consent to sexual abuse and rape. A minor, being a minor, cannot consent to participate in pornography, they are exploited whether they realise it or not.

So a paedophile is a danger to the minors in his family, if he has not already raped them: there are cases of parents raping their daughters when they are as young as 3 months old.

If a person has audiovisual material of sex with minors, it is our duty to report them.
