Totally necessary, as time goes by cyber fraudsters keep updating and increasingly the barriers of defenses of operating systems become vulnerable so it is necessary a good antivirus to stop the theft of information, I come using AVG and is very good, is in the top 3 here I leave you a link with a discount coupon if you are interested http s://cutt.ly/fz0Curl (remove the space before the s)

Do you get vaccinated? Do you vaccinate your children? Anyone who does is to REDUCE THE RISK of contracting a vaccine-preventable disease. You can live without vaccines YES but your risk of contracting a life ending or life changing disease is far more likely. This is the same way you should look at anti-virus software. It doesn't matter if you don't connect to the internet as malicious software can still be transmitted via USB or over a local network (and/or WiFi), so it's better to have antivirus software if you use Windows computers.

Now, there are viruses for Mac OS and Linux as well, although these days they use these systems more to move to other systems and infect other computers. While there are very few viruses that actually attack MacOS or Linux ### this is not because the systems are not vulnerable, but because of the disinterest of virus (or malware) developers to infect these systems, which represent a much lower percentage than Windows and require other methods and complications.

Now, not all those that claim to be Antivirus work effectively, since in this sense you need a quick response to new threats from the manufacturer.

I will answer from the user's side, I consider that a virus protection is necessary to avoid that our computer is not available when we need it.

On the other hand I affirm that commercial operating systems should take care of the antivirus (costs), after all they take advantage of security errors in the software they sell us.

I think that we should take care of the costs to avoid that problem?

I think that we have to pay for the antivirus (costs), after all they take advantage of security errors in the software they sell us.
