On the computer keyboard, press and hold down the left Alt key. While holding it down, enter the numbers 0151 on the number pad on the right side of the keyboard. Release all the keys. The 'long dash&apos ### ('-') should appear on the computer screen.

It is not called a long dash, but a dash. It is obtained by typing on the numeric keypad the digits 0151 while holding down the alt key. Naturally, the numeric keypad must be activated.
