Click Control + Alt + Del simultaneously to display the Task Manager.
From the menu select File => Run New Task, and type in the text field explorer.exe, as it is the program that displays folders and icons.

How to Restore Common Icons on Windows 10 Desktop
If you follow the steps below, you can easily restore all the missing icons that you previously accidentally deleted.
1. Open Settings and click Personalisation.
2. Click Themes and then Desktop Icon Settings.
3. Select the icons you want to see on the desktop, such as Computer (This PC), User Files, Network, Recycle Bin and Control Panel.
4. Click Apply, then click OK.
If you don't see any icons on the desktop, it's probably because you've hidden the icons previously set up in Windows 10. You can quickly make them visible again by right-clicking on an empty space on the desktop, selecting View and clicking the Show desktop icons option.
